Nuiku has created an integration engine that connects to sales system APIs (starting with Salesforce.com) and accommodates for customizations. This allows Nuiku to answer questions like “What is Mary Smith’s phone number” and questions like “how many interactions have I had with Mary over the past 12 months relating to [custom object] promotions?"

We are Nuiku, a Redmond-based start-up building a virtual assistant for sales professionals. Our product understands what sales pros do, connects with all the backend services they use and learns. We are early stage but already have active users from a small number of local companies. Today we are six people growing to eight. We are funded. We pay our bills.
We do speech-to-text, natural language processing and a whole bunch of fun backend work to support this mission. Our core platform is node.js and MongoDB with iOS on the client. We code in JavaScript. Really.
You will be the fifth programmer on the team. As such, you will range across the full scope of the server implementation including core infrastructure, intent processing, integration and intelligence. With much of the server core in place we’re pushing forward on a rich set of features. You will own multiple features including design, code, test and integration. We work as a team with lots of conversation and little bureaucracy.
